***Sorry about the re-post everyone, but I decided that I wasn't very happy with my hunched over, old man, MOTU movie version faced Skeletor...therefore, i retooled the whole pic.***
This is my take on Skeletor, my favorite villain of all time. I combined the 2001 Skeletor and the Movie version with some of my own ideas to create this and I am pretty damn happy with how it turned out.
I've had a fan fic concept for a long time about how Skeletor came to be and maybe I'll get creative and post it someday.
Despite the fact that the MotU movie was an abomination upon the cinematic world , I always liked Frank Langella's over the top depiction of Skeletor. It is probably my favorite portrayal of "Ol' Bone-head's" personality. Here are a set of his best lines from the movie:[link]
Read this excerpt from an article I found online; this articulates my feelings perfectly:
"Frank Langella manipulates the rhythm and meter of his dialog erratically, and to great effect (he finds iambs and caesura in some of the least poetic dialog imaginable). Skeletor's outbursts come without warning, but always seem dramatically "earned." He speaks every thought as a decree, and everything he says sounds like it's the most important thing he's ever said."
